Ananda Wilson was kind enough to provide information on her exquisite creams and addressing some of the more common questions about natural face creams and eye creams:

Q) Are these face creams formulated for sensitive skin?

A) YES. Although we do use the required preservative to ensure that you receive a safe and fresh herbal cream, we use a conservative amount in order to ensure both a safe AND gentle formula. In addition, consider the aromatics used. Some people feel the solvent of the absolutes cause mild irritation. Again, we are conscious of using the highest quality aromatics, in appropriate amounts for facial application. The only cream that contains an absolute is the Divine Renewal.

Q) How much of the face creams and eye cream do I use?

A) It is important to understand that a handcrafted herbal cream consists of ONLY the highly nutritive ingredients; vitamin rich vegetable oils, soothing hydrosols, and cell-regenerating essential oils; they are not made with common fillers, that make a "lotion" feel thin and light. These are therapeutic and ritual-style creams, in their natural form, which as you will notice is a thicker consistency. A little goes a LONG way! After cleansing, apply a small amount to the key places on your face, and gently press to distribute evenly. At first, if you are used to commercial creams, it may feel heavy. After a minute, you will notice how well the cream has absorbed, leaving a buttery, supple, smooth feeling skin, without the sweaty 'feedback' that silicone or glycerin creams give. They will protect you face for the entire day or night.

Q) Which cream would be a good choice for a night cream?

A) The Divine Rejuvenation for dry or mature skin; this cream contains very powerful ingredients for soothing, repairing, and moisturizing. Frankincense essential oil is noted for its phytoestrogenic constituents, helping to balance the female hormone system and specifically the skin during changes. It is also antiseptic and cytophylactic, meaning it speeds the rate of cell regeneration, giving you new radiant skin more consistently. Patchouli essential oil is specific for both the heart and root chakra, offering the emotions a balanced disposition. The skin benefits from its soothing and anti-yeast properties. Some adult acne is caused by environmental or inner-body bacteria, both which patchouli helps to counteract. Myrrh has been used throughout the centuries for its preserving and magically healing properties. It is a panacea of sorts!

For oily or very problematic skin, at night apply the Divine Refining cream. The natural content of vitamin A in the carrot seed essential oil quickly corrects and refines the complexion. Keep in mind that the skin completes the regeneration of all 7 layers of the dermis in about 6 weeks, so be patient with yourself! The cream is designed to heal and balance without the initial 'purge' phase that some dermalogical treatments cause. The lovely Geranium essential oil does a truly remarkable job of retraining, or reminding, the skin to produce its natural amount of sebum (skin's own oils). It balances uneven or overactive glands by providing phytoestrogens and esters at an absorption rate 200 times faster than water, that are essential for healthy, glowing, magical skin. Cypress is also an excellent female balancing oil, with a slightly astringent feel. This helps with maintaining tone, and keeping the skin free of environmental bacteria. Cypress oil is also noted by many aromatherapists for combating varicose veins, spider veins, and broken capillaries, due to it's vasoconstricting properties. Also, note the very special ingredient liquid chlorophyll; this is pretty self explanatory :), but we all need an extra dose of the miracle GREEN!
